How do I register?
To register for the conference, please go to the UGA Center for Continuing Education registration site.
Click on “New User” to create your account.
How much is registration?

What if I need to cancel my registration?
(1) A cancellation received by 5:00 p.m. ET on or before April 2, 2027, will be refunded, minus a $35 processing fee. No refunds will be issued thereafter.
(2) To change or cancel your registration, call (706) 542-7493, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.
(3) If an event is cancelled for any reason, the UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel will not be responsible for any charges related to travel.
How do I register as a student?
We define a student as someone who has not defended their Ph.D. dissertation. Please visit our registration page for further details about our rates.
Are there volunteering opportunities?
Volunteering opportunities are open to doctoral students at the University of Georgia. Please email icqi@qualitativeinquiry.org if you are interested in serving as a volunteer.
What does my registration include?

How can I sign up for the MAXQDA workshop?
You can sign up for the MAXQDA workshop when you register for ICQI. This entails an additional fee. See the registration page for details.
What forms of payment are accepted?
All major credit cards are accepted for payment of registration.
How can I obtain a registration confirmation and receipt?
You will receive an email and receipt confirming your registration from the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel.
Can my institution or department pay for my registration directly?
Yes. The person handling your registration needs to click on the “I am registering one or more people” on the front page. This will allow them to add participants’ names and information.

What if I need a certificate of participation?
We are happy to provide certificates of participation. However, we do require that you register by May 1 and check the “Certificate of Participation” box on the registration form.
Certificates of participation will only be distributed in person during check-in (or mailed to the late registrants who sign the certificate form during check-in). Certificates of participation will not be given to someone else, such as a friend or colleague, nor will they be mailed or e-mailed (except for late registrants who signed up during check-in). You must be present at the congress, not just registered, to obtain a certificate of participation. In addition, we will not accommodate requests for certificates of participation after the congress.
Conference hotel reservations
You can reserve a hotel room using the following link and Group Code until April 27, 2027.

Any hotel rooms that have not been reserved in your courtesy block prior to Tuesday April 27th 2027 will be released back into general inventory. If a room is available, you will receive the group rate.
Note: reserving a hotel room does not register you for the conference. Additionally, registering for this conference does not secure a hotel reservation. Reservations must be done separately if hotel stay is required.
