Conference Hotel: University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel
The International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry (ICQI) 2027 will be held at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel (Georgia Center), located on the beautiful UGA campus and within walking distance of downtown Athens. We encourage attendees to stay at the Georgia Center Hotel for the convenience of being on-site for conference sessions, networking events, and dining.

Conference Room Block
A block of guest rooms has been reserved at the Georgia Center Hotel at a special conference rate for ICQI attendees. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis until the conference block is filled or the reservation deadline has passed.

Please note that conference registration and hotel reservations are separate processes. Registering for the conference does not automatically reserve a hotel room.

If the conference hotel reaches capacity or you prefer alternative accommodations, Athens offers a variety of excellent hotels within a short walk or drive of the Georgia Center.
Downtown Athens (Walking Distance)
- Hyatt Place Athens/Downtown – Modern hotel located in downtown Athens, approximately a 20-25 minute walk or a short rideshare to the Georgia Center.
- Hotel Indigo Athens Downtown – Boutique hotel in downtown, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and entertainment.
- SpringHill Suites by Marriott Athens Downtown/University Area – All-suite accommodations conveniently located between downtown and the University of Georgia.
Additional Options
Other hotels are available throughout Athens, including properties in the west side and surrounding areas. These may require a short drive or rideshare to the conference venue.
